Abstract
The objectives of this research were; 1. to study the operation status of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 2. to study the operation requirement of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and 3. to propose a guideline of the operation of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.The mixed research methods were used in the study.
The quantitative data were collected from 181 administrators of Buddhist based schools through questionnaires and then analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected from in-depth interviews with 40 experts and analyzed by content analysis. frequency and percentages.
The results of the study found that:
1. The operation status of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province was at the high level in general. In details of the process, condition and factor operation was at the high level, followed by condition and factor operation process, personnel development based on the Threefold Training, and intimate monitor and support respectively. The expected work operation was at the high level in total and in aspect. The highest level was on condition and factor operation process, followed by personnel development based on the Threefold Training, and continuous improvement and development.
2. The administrators of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon
Si Ayutthaya Province required the school operation in every process starting from preparation, followed by evaluation, operation distribution, and improvement and development.
3. The guideline in the operation of Buddhist based schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province consists of 27 factors. The main factors are to facilitate teachers and staff to visit distinguished schools in the field, to set a plan for each field trip, to evaluate the plan after the field trip, and to analyze the body of knowledge and adjust to the school contexts appropriately.
