Abstract

The purposes of this thesis were to study the application of the principle ofSangahavatthuat WatNongsanom community, Rayong province and to study problems, obstacles and suggestions for applying of the principles ofSangahavatthu atWatNongsanom community, Rayong province. This research was quantitativeresearchwith survey by using questionnaires to collect datum of 351samples who live at WatNongsanom community,NeunPra sub-district,Muang district, Rayong province.

The results were found that an application of principle of Sangahavatthu or kindly treatmentsof those who live at WatNongsanom community, Rayong province in overview was in high level which indicated thatNongsanom community has followed and performed the Sangahavatthu well.  When considering in each aspect, itwas found that the level of giving was in high level which indicated that people who live at WatNongsanom communitygive helps to each other. The level of kindly speechaspect was in high level indicating that they talked to each other by good words, encouragingtheir neighbors and did not blamed others. In useful conducts aspect, it wasin middle by overview indicating that people in this community appreciated voluntary works, they were happy and ready to give handsto other communities, in supporting paupers, helpless persons, children, women, elderly and handicappers, sharing the knowledge for youths in communities and assisting others when they were in troubles. In equal treatment aspect, it found that by overview it was in high level indicating that people at WatNongsanom community, Rayong province usually appliedthe principle of Sangahavatthu in practical living consistently, they have sincerely followed the righteousness and justice for living in community and treated on each other equally.
