Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study a level of efficiency of performing the duties of sub-district administrative monks secretaries in Nakhon Ratchasima and to compare the efficiency of performing the duty of the sub-district administrative monks secretaries in Nakhon Ratchasima by variables of age, years and worldly education and to suggest guidelines to develop the duty efficiency of the sub-district leader’s secretaries in Nakhon Ratchasima. Samples were 149 secretaries of sub-district administrative monks in Nakhon Ratchasima. Data collection was a questionnaire and interview by interviewing nine secretaries. Statistics for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and content analysis.
The results of research were founded as follows:
1. The overall of functional efficiency of sub-district administrative monks secretaries in Nakhon Ratchasima Province was moderate.
2. The sub-district administrative monks secretaries in Nakhon Ratchasima with different ages had no difference of duty efficiency. While the document manage showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. Secretaries with the age lower than 40 worked more effectively than those with age over 40.
3. The overall of secretaries with different years of ordination did not have difference of duty performance at .05 level. According to each side consideration, it was found that each side did not show a statistically significant difference at .05 level.
4. The sub-district administrative monks secretaries with difference of worldly education had the overall of duty efficiency showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. According to each side consideration, it was found that coordination with Buddhist monks, the agency or person concerned and social welfare assistance showed a statistically significant difference at .05 level. The secretaries with the education lower than bachelor degrees had lower efficiency than those who completed a bachelor degree. While other parts did not show a statistically significant difference at .05 level.
