Abstract
The objectives of research titled “A Study of Administration in Accordance with Brahmavihãra IV of The Nongkhai Area Revenue Department Executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province” were: (1) to study the administrators’ work administration and the principles of Brahmavihãra IV, (2) to study the problems of the work administration in accordance with the principles of Brahmavihãra IV of the administrators in the Nongkhai area Revenue Department executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province and (3) to sugguest the guidelines in applying the principles of Brahmavihãra IV for the administrators in the Nongkhai area Revenue Department executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province.
The method of survey research was used by collecting the data from the 86 samples who worked in the Nongkhai area Revenue Department executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province by using the quantitative research. The tools for this research were the questionnaires created by the researcher. The data were analyzed by using the social ready-made program. The statistics used for this research consisted of frequency, percentage, means and standard deviation.
The results of research were found as follows :
1. A Study of work administration in accordance with the principles of Brahmavihãra IV of the administrators in the Nongkhai area Revenue Department executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province as a whole, the administrators’ work administration in accordance with principles of Brahmavihãra IV, that is, Mettã, Karunã, Muditã and Upekkhã were in the high level.
2. From a study in the aspect of Mettã, it was found that the administrators’ human relationships and friendships for their administrators’ and others were in the highest means (=3.74). The population’s opinions were in the lowest means (=3.55). that is, the administrators’ listening to their subordinators with attention. In the aspect of Karunã, it was found that the that is, assistance in the subordinators’ various work planning and projects to complete in accordance with objectives was in the highest means (=3.76). This item was in the lowest means (=3.30). that is, the administrators’ assisted in the personal issues of subordinators. In the spect of Muditã, it was found that the administrators’ supports and enhancement for the subordinators’ works were in the highest means (=3.68). The item was in the lowest means (=3.52). The administrators opened their occasion equally for their subordinators to show the results of work and ability. In the aspect of Upekkhã, it was found that the administrators’ practice by complying with the rightness, ethics, morality and the honesty in the work administration was in the highest means (=3.68). This item was in the lowest means (=3.53). that is, the opinions concerning the administrators’ behaviors, that is, they did not separate the groups of subordinators and did not show of their satisfaction in over-action.
3. The suggestion for the work administration in accordance with the principles of Brahmavihãra IV of administrators in the Nongkhai area Revenue Department executives in Nongkhai District, Nongkhai Province. In the aspect of Mettã, the administrators should listen to the subordinators’ opinions with attention. In the aspect of Karunã, the administrators should assist the personal issues increasingly. In the aspect of Muditã, the administrators should open the equal occasion for the subordinators to show their results of works and ability. In the aspect of Upekkhã, the administrators should not have the separated behaviors and did not show of their satisfaction with over-act.
