Abstract
The present study aimed to study the abbot’s leadership through the citizen’s attutude in Pho Si municipality Phibunmangsahan District, Ubonratchathani Province. Survey research along with the three hundred and sixty nine samples chosen from the area under consideration have been carry out in this research. Questionnaires have been employed for the data collection. The statistics used for data analysis were the following tools viz. Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, T-test and One-way analysis of variance.
Findings of the study
The opinions of the people, totally, towards the abbot’s leadership in Pho Si municipality Phibunmangsahan District, Ubonratchathani Province were with value ranking at “very” in four aspects as well as an average of = ๓.๗๙, S.D = ๐.๖๑ Sequentially, the highest score was the community development aspect with an average of = ๓.๙๑, S.D = ๐.๖๔, later the educational support for the Buddhist monks was an average of = ๓.๗๘, S.D = ๐.๕๘, the arts and cultural support was an average of = ๓.๗๗, S.D = ๐.๕๘ and finally, the people’s faith was an average of = ๓.๗๐, S.D = ๐.๖๓.
Generally, the abbot has specially emphasized on the developing of the temple and the nearby community. Hence, the problems faced were: the information for developing and major problems were not truly found, the relationship in community and nearby society as well as the developing of temple and community were ineffectively and in an abstract forms. Moreover, most of the abbot had no plans, managed without an effective directions and certain destination which leading to the ineffectiveness in development and administration.
