Abstract

              This thesis aims to 1) Study the concept of the age and the renewal of Buddhism.2) Study the ritual Bodhi Tree Crutches of Buddhist in tha tum District, Surin province.3) Study the value of the Bodhi Tree Crutches of Buddhist in tha tum District, Surin province.

              The study found that

              Age, there appears in the doctrine in Buddhism. And important as what all human beings desire is to have a long life to not want to die, or want to live forever. There was no death. In view of Buddhism is considered. Death is the end of life or of age when born old. Which is considered to be the beginning of life or the age when carrying out life stage one will come to the end of life known as the destination of a human or animal is. Death.

               The ritual renewal with Bodhi Tree Crutches of Buddhist  tha tum district surin province, is done when the patient is incurable, such as parents, ill.
