This thesis title on a ‘Study of Using  Principles of Four Divine States  Effective to Personnel’s Public Mind in Khao Yoi Hospital , Phetchaburi Province.’ has the aim and purpose of research like : 1. to study in applying  Principle of Four Divine States effective to the personnel’ s public mind in this said hospital,2. To study the level and comparison of using the principle of Four Divine States effective to the personnel’s public mind in this hospital, 3. To study the relationship between the use of Principles of four divine states and having the personnel’s public mind in this hospital and 4. To study the way and suggestion in using the principles of four divine states effective to the personnel’s public mind in this hospital, so this research is proceeded according to the methology of Mix Research comprised of a quantitative research ,survey research and qualitaty research depending on a documentary research and a In-Depth Interview to the key informants. The research samples are to 245 personnel in Khao Yoi Hospital of which the researcher uses the formula of Yamane (1973) with inaccuracy under 5% which will get magnitude of sample about 152 persons. The data analysis depends on a frequency, percentage , mean and a standard deviation , and uses Pearson’ s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and a quality research by an in–depth interview to key informants even the technique of analyzing contents in further details.

Results of Research

It is found that there are four interesting reasons like:

1. Most of 127 women regarded as 83.6% are 41 years old up , 63 persons as 41.4 with the B.A. degree , 86 persons as 56.6 with more than 16 years of work , 60 persons as 39.5 with the position of officials , 74 persons as 48.7 with salary income more than 20,000

2. The use of principles of four divine states of the personnel in this hospital is at a great level with men 3.99%. Having considered each side, it can be concluded as follows: To loving–Kindness(Metta), the personnel in this hospital use the principles of divine states about loving–kindness in mean 4.10% at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean, namely they have a good purpose to help the colleagues which have the mean 4.32% at the great level.

To compassion (Karuna), the personnel in this hospital uses principles of divine states about compassion which has the mean 3.83 at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean, namely they help the difficult colleagues in their ability and wisdom at a great level of mean 4.04

To a sympathetic joy (Mudita), the personnel in this hospital uses the principles of divine states about a sympathetic joy which has the mean 4.01 at a great level. According to each point the greatest mean, namely they enlarge there congratulations on the coo agues’ work success and give the predication to them with a great level of mean 4.05

To equanimity (Upekkha), the personnel in this hospital has the principle of divine states about equanimity which has the mean 4.00% at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean , namely when the colleagues have a conflict to each ther will be impartial and do not take a side which has the mean 4.09 at a great level.

3.The view about a public mind is comprised of four categories like:

a. To responsibility: the personnel in this hospital have the public mind about   responsibility with the  mean ๔.๐๐ % at a great level. According to each point of the greatert mean, namely they are ready to help about common activities of the organization which has the great level of mean ๔.๑๑%.

b. To sacrifice, the personnel have the public mind about sacrifice with the mean ๔.๐๑ % at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean,namely when someone come to ask than for help, they have never denied but accepted to help him at a great level of mean ๔.๒๑ %.

c. To harmony, the personnel in this hospital have the public mind about their harmony with the mean 4.00% at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean, namely they have behavior of a good leader and follower in the teamwork with the mean 4.10% at a great level.

   d. To the environment protection, the personnel in this hospital have the public mind about the protection of environment with the mean 4.02% at a great level. According to each point of the greatest mean, namely in the natural protection they are ready to give the participation mostly with the mean 4.20% at a great level.
