Abstract
The present study consisted of three main objectives: 1) to study the transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province; 2) to analyze the transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province, from the past till the present; and 3) to study problems and obstacles, as well as recommendations on the transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province. This present study employed the only qualitative research methodology. As for the qualitative methodology, in-depth interviews in form of the structured in-depth Interviews were used with 15 key Informants. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive interpretation.
The study findings revealed that
1) The transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province had occurred over a period of several decades. From the study, it is found that there was a change in the five aspects of living, tradition and culture, social, education and environment.
2) As analyzed the transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province, it is found that the transition process had occurred by covering both positive and negative in five aspects: in aspect of living, the living conditions were improved because of various businesses and increasing economic growth. In aspect of society, there was change in relationship between members in society to business relationship. In aspect of tradition and cultures, there were conservation and restoration of cultural traditions. In aspect of education, the development of educational quality was improved. And in aspect of environment, there was consistently better in a controlled area; Green area While the negative aspects of living. Population growth of the intensity of the struggle for housing benefits more generous social relationships to extend care to lower education have a competitive struggle in the interests of education. The tradition and culture Values have changed something caused a rift in the community. And the environment in areas damaged and destroyed due to the expansion of the community. Are invading public space Air pollution is a change coming up.
3) As regards problems and obstacles, as well as recommendations on transition process of community life in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province, it is recommended that in aspect of living, there should be encouraged to provide public housing to be beautiful, and there should be organization to manage and share the benefits of people. In aspect of society, there should be promotion of relationship with charity care of one another. In aspect of education, there should be the regulators of competitive struggle in interests of education. In aspect of tradition and culture, there should be promotion of harmonious community extensively. And in aspect of environment, there should be promotion of regenerating area damaged and preserving invasion of public area in community, and there should have efforts to plant trees in order to reduce air pollution.
