ABSTRACT
The present study aimed at 1) studying the principles of Dhamma Practice in Buddhism; 2) studying self–development from Dhamma practice of Buddhists practicing in Wat Ampawan Phromburi District, Singburi Province; and 3) presenting results from self–development from Dhamma practice of Buddhists practicing in Wat Ampawan Phromburi District, Singburi Province. This present study employed a Mixed Method with both Quantitative, with a survey, and Qualitative research methodologies. The study sample consisted of 279 out of 7,179 Buddhists practicing in Wat Ampawan Phromburi District, Singburi Province. The subjects were recruited based on the sample size of Taro Yamane. The instrument used in data collection was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed in terms of Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. As for qualitative methodology, in-depth interviews were used with 10 key informants, and data were analyzed by means of content analysis.

The overall opinions of people towards self-development from Dhamma practice of Buddhists practicing in Wat Ampawan Phromburi District, Singburi Province was at the great level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the opinions toward all aspects were at great levels.
