The purposes of this research were : 1) to study the level of a participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat, 2) to compare the level of a participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat in differences on sex, age and education, and 3) to study the suggestions about how to support a participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The samplings were collected 341 parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat in 2015’s academic year by following the table of Krejcie and Morgan. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires designed by researcher. The data analysis and statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and Scheffe’s Method.

The research findings revealed that:

1) A participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat was at the middle level when considered in aspect from more to less found that the aspect of the participation and support from all sectors was the highest mean and followed up the aspect of the network support in early childhood development and the aspect of administration of child care centers was the lowest mean.

2) The results of the data analysis in comparing a participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat found that there is different in sex, age and education with statistical significance of 0.05 level in general.

3) The suggestions in this research in supporting a participation of parents in the administration of child care centers, Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat are mostly in personnel, especially on encouraging the teachers honored with honesty and being assessed for teaching activities of child care center teachers.
