ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were 1) to study an application of the Buddhist principles of human relations for personnel administration in secondary schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 423) ChumseangChanutid School, 4) Thapkritpatthana School, 5) KaoliaoWitthaya School, 6)Phrabangwittaya School, and 7) Huadongrachaprommaporn School. The questionnaire was used for collecting the data. The statistical analyses used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings of the research were found that:
1) An application of the Buddhist principles of human relations for personnel administration in secondary schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42 had 4 aspects including Dana, Piyavaca, Atthacariya, and Samanattata. The personnel’s opinions, a whole and each aspect were at high levels. Considering each aspect, the highest mean was Atthacariya and followed by Piyavaca, Samanattata, and Dana, respectively.
2) Approaches for an application of the Buddhist principles of human relations for personnel administration in secondary schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 42 were recommended. Dana aspect, the administrators had to give rewards based on a reasonable chance and provided good welfare systems to personnel. Piyavaca aspect, the administrators should suggest for planning manpower to suit the jobs and provided advice on personnel management to work with justice. Atthacariya aspect, the administrators should take care of personnel’s happiness and suffering and continuously develop own works. Samanattata aspect, the administrators should behave in strict rules of the organization and sacrifice to other persons.
