Abstract

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were as follows (1) to study participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province: (2) to compare participation levels in academic administration of teachers of different genders, ages, educational levels and work experience; and (3) to study recommendations on promoting participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The sample size of 143 teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Academic Year 2015. The sample size was determined based on the sample size table of Krejcie and Morgan; the sampling methods comprised Stratified Random Sampling and Sample Random Sampling. The research tool was a questionnaire developed by the researcher at the confidence level of .937. The statistics of this research covered percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test F-test and to test the difference in each pair by Least Significant Difference (LSD)

The research results revealed as the following.  

1) The overall participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, was at the high level. Considering each aspect, the aspect with the highest mean was development and use of technology media, followed by development of educational institution curriculums; the aspect with the lowest mean was development of learning process.

2) From the comparison on participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, it was found that the teachers of different age of participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, was different at the statistical significance level of .05. The teachers of different genders, educational levels, work experience, of participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, were indifferent at the statistical significance level of .05.

3) Regarding the recommendations on promoting participation in academic administration of teachers in Thasala-Noppitam School-cluster Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, it was found that, for development and use of technology media, necessity of media and technology in teaching and learning was studied and analyzed. For measuring, evaluating and transferring study result, transferring knowledge, skill, experience and study results from other educational institutions or enterprises was found. For learning development, self-development of teachers was enhanced to develop learning process appropriately. For development of educational institution curriculums, basic education core curriculums and social, community and local needs were studied and analyzed.
