The purpose of this research is 1) to study the general condition of competency in Sangha administration of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials in Muang District, Lamphun Province, 2) to study the mechanism of competency strengthening in Sangha administration of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials in Muang District, Lamphun Province, and 3) to study the changes of competency strengthening in Sangha administration of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials in Muang District, Lamphun Province. This study is based on qualitative research methodology by In-Depth-Interview from 14 key informants and takes information from the collection in various ways. After that, the content is classified according to objectives and the content analysis (Content Analysis) with the presentation in a descriptive form manne continually.

            1. The general condition of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials In the area of Mueang district, Lamphun province found that the administration is in accordance with the framework of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand has appointed with the division of duties to help checking everything in the administration. The propaganda has cooperated in the work by bringing the projects to assist in the work that is Dhammaduta project and village of five precepts project. The religious education has provided the support of education fully by taking monks in morality teaching to the teaching of morality to help in relaying knowledge and there still has Lamphun Buddhist College that is a place to support in the developing knowledge continually. The education has helped to monks, novices, including the youth to support the scholarship with learning equipment. Public welfare is a great help to those who have been affected. There are rules to help each other. The public assistance is development the temple according to Lanna tradition in the North with high tolerance for working in each time, it takes a long time to work.

            2. The mechanisms to enhance Sangha administration capacity of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials in Muang district, Lamphun province found that Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials have adopted various mechanisms in order to help in strengthening capacity of Sangha administration, including the achievement motivation has taken the mechanism, systematic work. Good service has taken a proactive approach. Solidarity has taken the mechanism of participation in the work.  The expertise is taken the mechanism of strategic planning in the work and the ethical performance has brought the mechanism to perform duties in good faith for helping work.

                3. The changes of competency strengthening in Sangha administration capacity of Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials in Muang District, Lamphun Province, it was found that the Buddhist Ecclesiastical Officials had administrative work in a systematic and the structure of work clearly. It works in a proactive manner with unity and strength in collaboration. In addition, they can create moral integrity in accordance with the principles of law, along with moral good in each work.
