Abstract
The purposes of this study were 1) to study solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province, 2) to compare the opinion of people towards management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province by classified personal factors, 3) to study the study the problems, obstacles and suggestions about solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banvieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province and 4) to study the guideline for development solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banweng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province.
The study was a mixed methods research. Population and sample were 7,420 people. The samples were 380 people by using the formula of Taro Yamane. The data were collected by using questionnaire and analyzed by using computer program in social sciences research for finding frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation to describe general information. To test the hypothesis by t-test and F-test with One Way ANOVA found that was difference then test by the least significant difference. In the part of open-end showed the problems, obstacle, and suggestions, the researcher arranged the group according to the issues of open-end. Then, there was to analyze by frequency and data from interviews, the researcher will gather data on the essence of the interview, and then content analyzed.
The results of the study were as follows
1. Level of opinion of people on the solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province was found that people had the opinion level towards solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province overall was at the moderate level ( = 3.44, S.D. = 0.51).
2. Comparison of solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province by base hypothesis and analysis classification personal factors: sex, age, incomes, education, occupation was found that the people who had sex, incomes, education, occupation were not different mean rejected hypothesis.
3. Results of the study problems, obstacles, and suggestions the solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province were found that the people was not throw away the solid on the bin and there were some people did not bring the solid to recycle again. They should promote people throw away the solid on the bin every time and no had enough the officer for taking care in the community.
4. The guidelines for development for the solid waste management according To Iddhibāda IV of Banwieng Municipal District, Rongwaung District, Phrae Province found that the municipal officials are satisfied. And loves to tackle solid waste is huge, especially the need to reduce waste and overflow tank overflowing garbage problem of municipal waste disposal site. They should have the awareness to the people to sorting household waste before dumping the waste that can be recycled. Or to sell it to a sorting and selling to generate income for the family, the staff was attentive. And is a very responsible job, because you want to make your home livable town residents healthy sustainable under the concept of livable town house, the Load mayor Banwieng raised towards life sufficiency.
