Abstract
This the aims to study about Superstitions beliefs of market traders (Merchandisers) in Khwan-Riam Floating Market, Wat Bampen Nua, Minburi, Bangkok as well as in the abstracts and suggestions toward the beliefs of the market traders in the community. The sample are selected specifically from the traders living in the community of Bampen Nua Temple in the total amount of 150 traders. The questionnaire is used in part of the research which include the details of Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation, Also T-dependent statistic is used combining with Analysis of Covariance: ANOVA as part of the tools the research. In case there is specific mean in the deviation of the research, Scheffe method will also be used. The results collected from the questionnaire are as follow
This study of Superstitions beliefs of the traders show that the belief is in medium level and that most of the traders choosing in the perfect timing as “best timing” specially female traders. In addition, traders at the age below 25 years have different beliefs from the age group between 36-45 years at the level percentage of 0.05.
The results of obstacles and suggestion toward the Superstitions beliefs of the traders in Bampen Nua Temple Community, Bangkok have suggested at the traders also used their beliefs as part of how to manage the investment by talking advice from fortune tellers as well as using that advice to make the decision in running their business and it out come.
