Abstract
This thesis is of the objective to study the people’s attitudes towards the Buddhist monks in the ceremony of casting the material in creating the Buddha Image, and to study the problematic situations in the ceremony of the Buddha Image casting. The exemplary groups were the people selected from the people who joined the ceremony of casting the material in creating the Buddha Image, and in the ceremony of the Buddha Image casting. The Buddha Image is called “Phra Buddha Chaijana” at Chaijanasongkram Temple, Sampantawong District, Bangkok, in December 2, 2014. Those who came to join the ceremony were of the numbers of 300 persons. The statistics used in this research consist of the percentage,The average and the standard deviation. The used statistics are the t-dependent and the analysis of covariance:- ANOVA
From the study , it is found that the exemplary groups are of the attitudes that the creating of Buddha image is of the same benefit as that of the creating of the Uposatha Hall, Vihāra and The Dhammasālā. From the study, it is found that the females are of the higher attitudes than the males . It is also found that those who are of the ages of 46 to 60 are of the highest attitudes toward the monks. It is also found that the difference of the ages between 21 to 35 and between 35 to 45 is of the important point at the level of 0.05
From the study , it is found that those who are of the merchant occupation and of the personal occupation are of the highest attitudes toward the monks. From the study , it is found that one who has the general occupation and one who works in the private company is of the different attitudes with the important at highest level of 0.05.
