Abstract
The main objectives of this research were: 1) to study quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province: 2) to compare quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province by personal factors: 3) to study the problems, obstacle and suggestions for quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province.
This research applied Mixed Methods Research consisting of qualitative and quantitative research. The samples were 352 clients of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Taro Yamane Analytical method with reliability at 0.05. was used. The tools of the research were questionnaire with value at 0.872. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test with One Way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference (LSD.). The in-depth interview from the 9 key informants.
Results of the Research was applied:
1) Public opinion on quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province was at high level ( =4.08). When considering each aspect it was at high level in all aspects.
2) The compare quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province by personal factors were sex, age, education, occupation and monthly income. It was found that people having the different sex, age, occupation, monthly income had different level of quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province and people having the different education did not show any different level of quality of public services of local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province
3) The problems, obstacle and suggestions made for quality of public services of the local registration office Nakhon Sawan city municipality Nakhon Sawan Province were that: discipline in making priority list to serve people. Upper officers should encourage staff on awareness of service without discrimination, timeliness label should be added as extra services for handicap and elderly. Sufficient parking in order to facilitate people should be provided. For solving problem on inadequate police staff to serve, officers have less work should let people know that the authorities have one police should take more than one job on duty.
