ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were to : 1) study the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service units’ administrative management under Nakhonsawan Buddhist College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) ; 2) make comparison on the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service units’ administrative management ; and 3) study problems, obstacles, and propose suggestions on the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service units.
The study used mixed method research consisting of survey research of quantitative approach and qualitative method approach. The quantitative research used questionnaire for collecting data from samples of 262 out of 763 persons under the three academic service units of Nakhonsawan Buddhist College. The data analysis used SPSS for descriptive presentation. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The study result’s were as follows :
1. The overall value of opinions towards the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service units of Nakhonsawan Buddhist College was at high level with = 4.09. Considering values of each aspect, Dhammannauta-knowing the law shared value with =4.01, Atthannuta-knowing the meaning with =4.17, Attannuta-knowing oneself with =4.14, Mattannuta-knowinf how to be temperate with =4.01, Kalannuta-knowing the propertime with =4.03, Parisannuta-knowinf the society with =4.13, and Puggalaparoparannuta-knowing the individual with =4.10.
2. The comparision result of the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service units’ administrative management under Nakhonsawan Buddhist College, revealed that the samples’ with different sex, age, education and roles and duty did not show significance of opinions towards the integration of Sappurisadhamma, this disagreed with the hypothesis.
3. The studied problems, obstacles, and suggestions on the integration of Suppurisadhamma to academic service centers, included lackage of understanding law and regulation of the university and traditions of community, lackage of human relationship, no friendliness, no update technology to support learning, high percents of drop-out students, insufficient classrooms, and inadequate budget for administration. The suggestions, then, were supporting more understanding in the University laws, regulation, and orders, encourage more cooperative and participating working, listing priority to assignments, community service by students, and encourage activities to achieve the University goal and missions.
