The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province. 2) to compare the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province. 3) to study the Problems, trouble and suggestion about the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province.

               This research was mixed-research consisting of quantitative research, survey research, and qualitative research. The sample group in this research was 393 persons in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province from the population of 23,499 people that selected by using method of Taro Yamane. The statistics for data analysis were Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test and F-test. Data analysis methods are One Way ANOVA by Least Significant Difference: (LSD). The qualitative research was In-depth. Interview with 7 key Informants. The using technical analysis of context was applied.

The results of the research revealed that:

1. Public opinion on the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province in overall view was at the high level ( = 3.77). Considering the average each item ranging  from high  to low revealed that economic promotion was at ( = 3.87), governing and peacekeeping at ( = 3.80), social environment and public health at ( =3.77) , education, religion, and culture at ( = 3.73), directing at ( = 3.73) and village development plan at ( = 3.59)  All were at a high level.

2. The results of the comparative opinion on the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province by personal factors in overall view found that the people who had different gender, age, study, status and income, comments were not different at the statistical significant at 0.05. The refused the hypothesis.

3. The problems and obstacles on the roles of community board of municipality development in Wichianburi municipality Phetchabun province showed that the public relations in the community was not achieved because communication tool insufficient affected on losing contact with community in important dates, lack of public relations about diseases from Ministry of Health and lack of planning on preparation for a changing economy along with career promotion inside the village to make money.

The studied suggestions included that: There should have a budget request to install transmitter village cover in order to cover community news and information distribution. There should have security in the village at night because some people group tend to create chaos in the night that might cause public property damage. There should be community center, because in some cases, people in the community cannot access directly the community. Board committee was making excuse as being busy.
