Abstract

The objectives of this research were : 1) to study the people’s opinion in the participation in the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province, 2) to compare the level of opinion of the people’s participation individually in the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province, 3) to study the problem, difficulty and suggestion in the participation of the people individaully in the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province.

The Mixed Methods Research that consisted of Quantitative Research and Survey Research was used with 362 example by the random sampling method. The Qualitative Research used In-Dept Interview from the 7 Key Informants by the context analysis technique.

Results of the Research :

1. The level of the people’s opinion toward the participation in the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province was overall in the medium position ( =2.94), that composed activity participation ( =3.13), decision making ( =2.99), social information ( =2.95), opinion listening ( =2.93) and  promote public power ( =2.67)  the medium position.

2. The result of the level participation of the people’s opinion toward the participation in the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province had no any difference according sex, occupation and income which was not accepted hypothetical research. However, people with different, age and level of education was at the 0.05 statistical significant.

3. For problem and difficulty correlating the participation of people in the administration of the Thadang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong phai district, Petchabun Province found that people had little time to follow the social information which was because of work, the discontinuous information, the lack of responsible people for the board, and the lack of the participation one another of people and officers in Sub-district Administrative Organization. For the suggestion, continuous information and more participation should be done.
