ABSTRACT
The objects of this research were : 1) to study the human resource development project of the Ecclesiastical Official forward the Singha’s development in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province, 2) to make study on the Sangha’s opinions towards the human resource management project of the Ecclesiastical Official to the Singha in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province classified by personal factors, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions concerning the human resource development of the Ecclesiastical Official affecting to the Singha’s development in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province. This study was carried on through the Mixed Method Research consisting of quantitative, survey and qualitative research. The sampling group used in this study consisted 270 monks staying within Wichianburi District. Taro Yamane’s formula was need in sampling. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One Way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: (LSD) to compare the differences of the mean in pair. For qualitative research, the In-Depth Interview with key informants was selected to use in this study. The data was analyzed by using content and context analysis techniques.
The results revealed as the follows:
1)The Sangha’s opinions towards the human resource development of the Ecclesiastical Official affecting the Singha’s development in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province, appeared in valueaverage at high level (X=3.72). When considering in each item, it showed that the Singha’s opinions were at the high level for all items. And when considering into each item ranging from high to low of the means, it showed respectively as: Training (X=3.83), Education (X=3.76) and Development (X=3.58).
2) The result of the comparative study on sampling group’s opinions Forwards the human resource development of the Ecclesiastical Official on Singha’s development in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province classified by personal factors, showed that the monks of different ages, different educational qualification in Dhamma and different educational qualification in Pali took different opinions significantly at 0.1 level. that followed hypothesis mentioned. For the monks who had the Buddhist Lent and education in Compulsory Education took no different opinions.
3) The problems, obstacles and suggestions concerning the human resource Development project of the Ecclesiastical Official forwards the Singha’s development in Wichianburi District, Phetchabun Province, showed that on the item of Training, the Ecclesiastical Official should manage proper time and money to support the training handed within the Wat, including seeking for some earnings kept for supporting any activities in Wat. The Official should participate with the sectors outside the area to handle the training benefitial activities besides providing some knowledge and understanding to the monks who were interested in joining the training program. On the item of Education, the Official should manage the budget for further education to develop himself and the Sangha for the item of Development. The Official should also arrange some budget to support various activities to be handled more on the holy days in Buddhism.
