Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of the efficiency on service according to Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province, 2) to compare the opinion of the people toward the efficiency on the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province by classifying on the personal factors, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions for the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province.
This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and quantitative research. The sample was 369 people in Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province. The tools of the research were questionnaire and in-Depth interview from the 9 key informants. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistics for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test with One-way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: LSD.
Results of the Research
1. Overall, the level of the efficiency on the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province was at the high level ( =3.55) When considering each aspect, it was found that the facilities was at the highest level (=3.57). Then, the staff was (=3.56). However, the buildings and places was at the lowest level (=3.52).
2. The comparison of the opinion of the people toward the efficiency on the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province by classifying on the personal factors found that the people having the different gender, age, degree of education occupation and income had no the opinion toward the efficiency on the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province. Therefore, the hypothesis was denied.
3. The problems and obstacles of the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province were that the Sub-District Administrative Organization had no the communication and the explanation in the service procedure. The staff hardly gave the answer about the service, and the advice to the people. The staff served the people unfairly. The seat for the people and the toilets were insufficient. The facilities were insufficient. The suggestions for the service according to the Buddha-Dhamma of Phothale Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phothale District, Phichit Province were that staff should have the service mind, be cheerful, and speak beautifully to the people. The staff should help the people in writing the petition, pay attention to the people in the service fairly. Moreover, the Sub-District Administrative Organization should provide the seat for the people, the toilets and the facilities sufficiently such as pen, glue and scissors etc.
