Abstract
The main objectives of this research were : 1) to study Buddhist leadership of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province; 2) to compare Buddhist leadership of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province by personal factors; 3) to study the problems, obstacle and suggestions for Buddhist leadership of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province.
This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of qualitative and quantitative research. The samples were 257 monks living in Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province using stratified random sampling. The tools of the research were questionnaire with reliability at 0.915. The statistics for data analysis used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test with One Way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference (LSD.). The in-depth interview from the 8 key informants was also applied.
The results of the Research revealed that:
1) The studied Buddhist leadership values of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province was at high level ( =4.11). When considering each aspect in valuing know causes, knowing outcome, knowing myself, knowing saving, knowing time, knowing community, and knowing person. They were at the high level in all aspects.
2) The comparative Buddhist leadership of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province any personal factors showed that people having the different age, rainy season, theologian education, palieducation, and general education showed no difference Buddhist leadership for Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province. Therefore, the hypothesis was denied.
3) The problems, obstacles and suggestions on Buddhist leadership of Sangha administrators at Takhli District, Nakhon Sawan Province concerned lack understanding of the Sangha administration in terms of qualifications and seniority, lack vision to lead groups and organizations to achieve the objectives goals, lack of qualified talent to rule the clergy look of recognizing boundaries appropriateness in working with clergy sampha, lack of awareness to operate duties, lack of cannot behavior to be acceptive by society of ability to put people in the right jobs in the administration areas. The recommendations were to perform responsibility, equally treat, organization development. They should learn to live simply, be punctual, be utilized, respect traditions, social beliefs, as well as applying those to then sermon and preaching.
