ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research were: 1) To study the level of administrative Leadership in cording to the Sappurisadhamma of administrators of Bungnamtao Sub-district administrative organization at Lomsak District, Phetchabun Province. 2) To compare administrative Leadership according to Suppurisadhamma of administrators of Bungnamtao Sub-district administrative organization at Lomsak District, Phetchabun Province. And 3) To study the problems, obstacles, and suggested improvements about this management leadership.
This research applied mixed methods research consisting of quantitive, qualitative and survey research. A questionnaire was also used as a research tool in this study. For qualitative research, an in-depth interview with key informants was selected to support the qualitative data. The sampling group for this study was 376 people from Bungnamtao sub-district, Loksak District, Phetchabun Province. The researcher analysed all data by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and one way ANOVA. Least Significant Difference (LSD) was used to show the difference between the mean values in pair.
The results revealed the following:
1. Overll, the opinions of people toward administrative in according to the Sappurisadhamma of administrators of Bungnamtao Sub-district administrative organization at Lomsak District, Phetchabun Province was at the high level ( = 3.53). When considering each aspect, sorting arithmetic mean from highest to lowest were Parisannuta: knowing the society ( = 3.73), Atthannu: knowing the meaning ( = 3..73), and Dharmannutta: knowing the law ( = 3.68), Attannuta: knowing the oneself (= 3.58), Puggalannuta: knowing the individual (= 3.53), Kalannuta: knowing the proper time ( = 3.44), Mattannuta: knowing how to be tamperate ( = 3.39)
2. The comparison of people’s opinions towards the administrative leadership. according to the principle of Sappurisadhamma, were classified by personal factors. It was found that the differences in gender, age, occupation, education and income per month did not influence the opinions of the people towards the administrative leadership. Therefore the hypothesis was rejected.
3. The problems, obstacles and some suggested improvements concerning the administrative leadership of the Chief Executive of SAO in Bungnamtao, according to Sappurisadhamma: 1) The personnel did not get a chance to give their opinions to solve any problems. 2) Leadership did not follow the development plan systematically and also did not realise that the problem should be solved first. 3) Lastly, the leader did not choose the correct worker for the work, which created a gap between the leader and the people For the suggestions for improvement, the leader should let everybody give their opinions on solving any problem in order to find different ways to solve it. The leader must have a clear vision in administration and kindly ask the people.
