ABSTRACT
This thesis is divided into 3 objectives as they are namely:- (1) it is to make analytical study for the Buddhist ways of communication for the Buddhist propagation and the analytical study according to the principal of mass communicational System, (2) to make the analytical study about several contributions and historical background techniques for the propagation of Buddhism in several countries by Venerable Phrapromwachirayan, (3) to make the analytical study between the multiplying broaden of Buddhism by the Venerable Phrapromwachirayan within the Buddhist ways of communication for the Buddhist propagation and the multiplying Communications with the principal of mass communicational System.
This research is a documentary one and the research are required in-Depth Interview. The results of the research are found that:-
The Lord Buddha has established a stable Buddhist ways of life. The strategies of multiplying process have brought Buddhism to be expanded to several regions all over the many states of ancient India. The Buddha, He himself, contained within multiple values roles characteristics of prototype to carry the extreme goal for his disciples or the followers to propagate his teachings. His capabilities were communicating effectively with multiple techniques within geographical environments, previous historical of each Bhikkhus, social structures, traditional ways of life to communicate according to the principal communicational system to be a part of human life. The main ideology of truths conveyed unto the disciples for the mission to spread the happiness of life for gods and men. The happiness ways of life have spreader with the application to the geographical environment to whole steps of society, daily life, group manufacturing, the rulers, among the rulers in different regions, communicating of mankind has four basics principles as they are the communicators, the messages, the media ways or channels and the receiver or the audiences. And in each basic principal method is supporting to be grown up or to reduce capability to be the results as they may be good or they may be bad fruitions. Then, the methods of communication are the significant part of the society, individual life, for the ways of livelihood of human beings.
Venerable Phrapromvachirayan has been starting his Buddhist traditional training with Vipassana Kammatthana, or insight meditation. The insight meditation is oneself full perfected trainee to be ready for a Buddhist propagation. Then, he has been starting to produce various Medias for several kinds of media to promoting into many channels of broadcasting. His several projects such as describing to Buddha’s Dhamma by Dhamma talks, Buddhist traditional Preaching is known as “Test”, etc. His duty of propagation to the Buddha’s Dhamma or Dharma in abroad was made by first following the most senior Venerable Oversea going Monks in those days for the learning how to offer the hands and helps to the Buddhists and another faiths in abroad in several countries. He was the first founder of many organizations and significant institutes to set up organizations and institutes to observe, to analytical studies and propagate the Dharma in abroad. Venerable Phrapromwachirayana has firmed to the main principles of the Ovãdapãthimokha, the main teaching has been given by the Lord Buddha in the full moon day of the third lunar month of the year after ninth month of his enlightenment, with his devoted life of propagation for the spreading of Buddhism into the global level according to strategies of Mahatherasamãgom, the committee members of the Supreme Patriarch of Thai Sangha. The six strategically ways of the committee members of the Supreme Patriarch of Thai Sangha are divided into:- 1) The Administrative ruler, 2) The Religious Principal Studies, 3) The Welfare Studies, and 4) The Ways of Propagation, 5) The Public Affiliation, 6) The Propagation of Buddhism to the Public. The six ways of strategies are as the followings:- Dharma Talks, Speeches, Narratives, Sammodaneeyakathã of saying a comfortable to the events, Anussaranakathã of his Buddhist poetry in several kinds of poems, his Dharma productions that are broadcasting on television, radio, publishing, there are fourteen categories to explain, to analyze the techniques of style in prose and poems. The poems have the figure speeches’ proverb with a metaphor to many situations of Dharma with boundless prospects and folktales to explain technical words with individual and events.
The Buddhist Propagation of the Venerable Phraphromwachirayan is conformed to the middle way that the Lord Buddha has given the messages along with the principle of mass communicational system. He has devoted his life for Buddhism, adhered to the principle of the Ovãdapãthimokha to be as the goal of Buddhist Propagation and his ideology of propagation is as well as the middle way that has given by the Lord Buddha and also conformed to the scientific theory of the mass communicational system on the behalf of the communicating sender as the skillful sender as well. On the behalf of the messages, his productions are produced to the code of the right messages. On the behalf of the mass details and as well managing of mass media according to the principles of mass communicational system are in various kinds of prototypes. The most often communications of his propagation are divided into two categories, e.g. man media and non-man media to receive his messages. His audiences are skillful in the fields of the mass media communications, be well attitude, be well knowledge with lot of experience. Most of his audiences were in several environments and various kinds of social cultures both in Thailand and abroad. They were in every steps of walking life which is as the reflection of the right wisdom for him to propagate the teachings of Lord Buddha to the receivers, the audiences in different ways of life.
