ABSTRACT

The objectives of this study were 1)  to study the analysis of state and problems of development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators, (2) to study the concepts and theories  about development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators, 3) to integrate the development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan Province.

This research was the mixed research method between the qualitative research and quantitative research.  For the qualitative research used the documentary research and in-depth interview from 20 key informants as Sangha administrators and general people and group discussion with 9 specialists for confirm the development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan Province  and the quantitative research used the 297 questionnaires. The data analysis was used the social sciences programme for descriptive statistics were the frequency,  percentage, mean,  standard deviation (S.D).

The findings of the research as follows :

1. The state and problems of management lacked of ambition due to no competition from other religions and geography is not proper to manage the propagation because there were many community businesses. The monks accepted the improper role due to some Sangha administrators were assigned as the secretaries and the problem of planning was the problem because of responsible task and to work directly.

2. The development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan province , found that development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan province in overall was at good level (=3.73), but when considered in each side and found that it was also good level as following , for the highest was the directing side (=3.92). The second was organization management (=3.88) and the lowest side was the controlling (=3.41).             

            3. The guidelines for the development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan province , found that the guidelines for development towards Buddhist propagation of Sangha administrators in Samutprakan province as follows : 1. Should increase the training and propagate Buddhism more to the monks and novices in the monasteries and then they can propagate Buddhism to the people correctly according to the doctrine of Buddhism.  2. To set up the foundation for Buddhist propagation. 3. Should increase more personnel. 4. To create the teamwork for Buddhist propagation and exchange the knowledge to each other. 5. Should train the proper behavior and the administrators should take care of monks and novices strictly. 6. Should support more Buddhist propagation and to propagate to match of the culture and the way of life. 7. Should support the new generation monks to practice the propagation on other occasions.  8. Should have the stages or changes for the monks and novices to deliver the Dhamma speech. 9. Should develop the modern and interesting model for Buddhist propagation. 10. Should arrange the enough resources such as should have the place to study Dhamma regularly in the monasteries or the villages etc.
