ABSTRACT
The study of "A study of provincial meditation centers In the sangha region IV" is qualitative research (Qualitative Research) on the three main objectives: 1 ) to study the Buddhist teaching practices appeared in the scriptures of Buddhism 2) to study of The role provincial meditation centers In the sangha region IV and 3) to determine the appropriate form of meditation practice in the present social by data with participant observation and non - participant observation, the structured and unstructured interview guide and focus groups discussion. The results showed that the eight provincial meditation centers was held the teaching on the Great Foundations of Mindfulness from materiality to immateriality, or to see an easy things to what difficult.
The role of In provincial meditation centers in Sangha Region Iv, it were building a training center to practice meditation every office, to promote and support the training and the moral principles and ethics training for government officials and the general people. There are the addition and support of intelligence to social in various forms, promote and support the ordination of a novice and training the youths against drugs in summer of one district at the least in per year.
The appropriated form of meditation practice of Sangha Region Iv include three components : 1) on the location, it must be clean, quiet, peaceful and no noise, 2 ) on the lecturer or teacher, he must be the Insight Meditation teachers or trainers, who was trained through the course of the meditation teachers or talented to teach the Great Foundations of Mindfulness as well and 3 ) on the management, the head of the institute must be interest and see the importance of education, practice and propagation entirely.
