    The results are following:
The enlightenment of Theravada Buddhism is found that the enlightenment refers to seeing through everything with wisdom. According to Buddhism words, it is called spiritual eyes. It is knowledge that whatever happening will always die. There are four processes of enlightenment: stream-enterer, one who is a once-returner, one who is a non-returner, and one who is an Arahant.
The enlightenment of Satori in Zen of Mahayana Buddhism is found that Zen a sharp enlightenment which is called “Zatori”. Those who practice in the office of teachers will follow the practice of Zen. While practicing, the intelligence of performer will be accumulated as blowing the balloon. At the highest point of intelligence accumulation, the intelligence with power will be able to destroy ignorance leading to the enlightenment which is called Zatori.
There are both the similarity and difference about the enlightenment of Theravada Buddhism and The enlightenment of Satori in Zen of Mahayana Buddhism as follows: The similarity of both sects is that the main scripture contains the doctrine which is the heart of each sect., for example, Theravada Buddhism has Tripitaka.Zen has Longkavatalsutta with clear procedure for performer to achieve the enlightenment. Theravada has Bhothipakkahiyatham, but Zen has Zen practice. Both sects respect their teachers’ instruction. In practice, Zen is similar to Theravadah’s beliefs which focuses on the enlightenment in this life. While Mahayana Buddhism focuses on Bhothisatta.
About the enlightenment, Zen will have a sudden enlightenment which is called Zatori. But, Theravada focuses on a step of enlightenment which is a difference from both sects. However, the researcher sees one point that the enlightenment from both sect is from accumulating the wisdom leading to the get rid of ignorance. According to the researcher, there is no difference between two sects about wisdom and mind state because the mind of those who are away from desire is pure with wisdom, kindness, and mercy for the benefits of the society as a whole.
