The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the generality of the
academic human resource development of Rajabhat Universities in lower north of
the second area, (2) to study the Buddhist human resource development of Rajabhat
Universities in lower north of the second area and (3) to propose the model of the
Buddhist human resource development of Rajabhat Universities in lower north of the
second area.
The approach of this research was a mixed methods of the qualitative and
quantitative research. The quantitative research was conducted by studying the
samples of 260 respondents who were academic personnel of Rajabhat Universities
in lower north of the second area including Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University
and Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University. The tools used for data collection was a 5
level rating scale questionnaire about the human resource development of Rajabhat
Universities in lower north of the second area at reliability level of 0.93 and
the human resource development according to Tisikkhã (the threefold training)
at reliability level of 0.95. Statistics used to analyze data were frequency, percentage,
mean and standard deviation. The qualitative research conducted by in-depth
interviewing the participants for 19 key informants who were academic personnel.
Then, the results of the research was synthesized into the Basic Model and proposed
to the 10 experts for the presentation of the model of the Buddhist human resource
development of Rajabhat Universities in lower north of the second area.
The research findings were as follows :
1. The generality of the academic human resource development of
Rajabhat Universities in lower north of the second area found that in the training,
the universities set the policy in training the personnel regularly, invited the experts
in and out the universities for training. In the education, the universities supported
the higher education for the personnel to develop the potential in working.
Moreover, in the development, the universities have supported and promoted
the self-development of the personnel. However, the human resource development
according to 5 aspects was: the personality, the academic, the skill, the attitude and
the creative thinking. The personnel should have good external personality and
be a good model and the academic leadership and have the consciousness to
the service. The internal personality should be exalted, good tempered optimistic
and calm, and have good attitude toward the development.
2. The Buddhist human resource development of Rajabhat Universities
in lower north of the second area in line of the Silã (the morality) found that the
personnel at Rajabhat Universities had the responsibility toward the duty extremely
and provided the training in the precepts observation and the practice of the
Dhamma annually the morality practice was to practice by both physically. The
concentration practice was to practice in mind. However, the wisdom practice was to
practice in the body of knowledge in the development which in the Samãdhi (the
tranquilly) the universities promoted of the personnel in the concentration before
working. In the Pañyã (the wisdom), the universities have supported the working of
the personnel with the application of the approval in the working.
3. The model of the Buddhist human resource development of Rajabhat
Universities in lower north of the second area found that the model of the human
resource development in Silã (B = Behavior) focused on the development of the
behavior in physically and mentally. The human resource development in Silã has
produced the good skill and good personality. The human resource development in
Samãdhi or the mentally development (M = Mind) has produced good attitude in the
working. The human resource development according to Pañña or the wisdom
development (W = Wisdom) was the human resource development, in the highest
level and the most important was core the wisdom. This model was applied with the
academic knowledge and the creative thinking to build perception and the creative
