The objectives of this research were : (1) to study the concepts, theories and principle of Buddhadhamma about leadership development of Sangha administrators in Sangha organization, region 15, (2) to analytically study the conditions and problems and obstacles of leadership development of Sangha administrators in Sangha organization, region15 and (3) to propose the model of leadership development of Sangha administrators in Sangha organization, region 15.
The methodology was the qualitative research, collecting data from related texts and researches and 25 key informants by in-depth-interview and focus group discussion with 10 participants. Data were analyzed by the descriptive interpretation,
The Findings of Research were as follows :
1. Buddhist Leadership, the leaders must have the broad visions, deep thought , humble and wisdom to solve the problems very fast, not ignored the problems and destroyed Buddhism and Sangha, sacrificed and reduced the selfishness for the benefits of people with Prommavihara or Sublime State of Mind and accepted the suggestions from all groups for developing the society to have the happiness. Moreover, the leaders must know the method and classification for training the monks, novices and people to suit the behavour for motivation and encouragement, work hard, try hard, settlement and stability in practice of teaching of Lord Buddha and to know the persons in the work for Sangha for prosperity and admiration the good people who have the morality to be able for working in the sake of the people and the most importance of leadership is to have good wisdom and ability that will create the discipline, activeness and encouragement in working and keep the right things that will create the respect, faith from subordinates , people and society always.
2. The problems about the leadership development of Sangha administrators in Sangha organization, region 15, had six major problems such as 1) Administration problem, 2) Propagation problem , 3) Religious Education problem, 4) Educational Welfare problem, 5) Construction problem, 6) Public Welfare problem. These big and very important problems of Sangha administrators to every monastery and Sangha organization , region 15, must realize and hurry to solve these problems properly.
3. The leadership development of Sangha administrators in Sangha organization, region 15, relies on the contents as follows: 1) Leadership in the role or duty with responsibility as the monks in Buddhism, 2) Leadership in the role or duty with responsibility as the monastery representative, 3) Leadership in the role or duty with responsibility as Sangha Administrators and, 4) Leadership in the role or duty with responsibility as the legal officer. By having the vision and smart leadership and to know the method of useful behavior and to create the motivation to the staff by developing the administration system in Sangha organization, region 15 to be the learning organization, focus on personnel development to have the knowledge, ability to work, have the systematical thinking , have the team work, have the fairly solutions including creation the visions to Sangha organization for Sangha’s participation in Sangha administration for six aspects such as Administration, Buddhism Propagation, Religious Education, Educational welfare, Constructions and Public Welfare. Sangha Administrators in region 15 have the high special individual ability for leadership, have the working process and method, to create the relations with community including self-development, and develop the Sangha organization perfectly with Dhamma Vinaya. It will have the impact on the faith and belief of Buddhists that will help the religious practice successfully as the objective easily that it is the leadership according to Dhamma of Buddhism such as Kosulladhamma(principle of goodness, Sangkhavatthudhamma (bases of social solidarity), Iddhipada (path of accomplishment) ,Brahmavihara(holy abidings or sublime states of mind), Akatidhamma(principle of no bias), Chakkradhamma(principle of success), Sappayadhamma (principle of happiness and convenience), Suppurisadhamma (qualities of a good man), and Aparihaniyadhamma (principle of no ruin or depreciation) to start developing the leadership of Sangha administrators in Sangha administration, region 15, stably and forever. |
