Abstract

 

The Objectives of this research were : 1) to study about the role in work responsibilities of the teacher competency of the Pali-Pariyatidhamma School in Bangkok, 2) to study about the teacher competency of the Pali-Pariyatidhamma School based on the kalayanamitta Dhammas in Bangkok, and 3) present the teacher competency of the Pali-Pariyatidhamma School based on the kalayanamitta Dhammas in Bangkok.

The research methodology was Using a Mixed Methods, both quantitative and qualitative. The data were collected from a sample of 156 teachers, a form of qualitative research. Retention of highly qualified and expert interviews and Focus group Discussion 24's / men then analyzed the data using statistics include percentage, mean, standard deviation (t-test) and. inductive analysis (Inductive analysis).

Research Result

     1. There were 8 roles and competency of the teachers of Pali-Pariyatidhamma based on The Kalayamitta Dhammas-Philosophy of Pariyatidhamma  Teaching and Learning Management, Knowledge Instruction media, Teaching and Learning Activities, Learning Measurement and Evaluation, Pariyatidhamma Teaching and Learning Research, and Paritatidhamma Learning supported, Entirely, the average of the role in work responsibilities of the teacher of the Pali-Pariyattidhamma school was in high level. It was considered that the highest average was Learning Measurement and Evaluation which was in high level. About Instruction Media, it was the lowest average but was in medium level.

     2. There were 4 groups of teachers’ abilities based on the kalayanamitta Dhammas in Bangkok, totaled 12 minor groups 1) General competency which consisted of 3 minor competencies, there were Moral and Ethical, good communication, and good Role Model 2) Individual Competency which consisted of self Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, and self personality Development 3) Working with others Competency which consisted of 3 minor competencies, there were Working in Teams, Helping Others, and Credibility 4) Learning management competency which consisted of 3 minor Competencies, there were Classroom Management, Technical Learning skill, and Using Innovation and Information Technology.

     3. The teacher competency of the Pali-Pariyatidhamma school based on The kalayanamitta Dhammas in Bangkok, It was found that 4 groups and 12 minor groups of teacher’s abilities of the Pali-Pariyattidhamma school depended on The Kalayanamitta Dhammas to push forword for efficiency of Pali teaching so that this research was presented in form of UDON MODEL
