The Objection of Research were to Study the State of Personnel Development And Compare the State of personnel Administration of Champasak University, Pakse District, Champasak Province. Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Distinguishing by status and the way of personnel administration of Champasak University, Pakse District, Champasak Province. Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The researcher used 240 populations for the study. The tools of research were questionnaires. Using computer program as SPSS was analyzed data by means of percentage and standard deviation testing by T-test and One Way Analysis of Variance.

                 The result of research as follows:

Personnel Development of Champasak University, Pakse District, Champasak Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Allovesr were at moderate level. When considering each category by arranged in order from high to low average level. The study showed that education in higher, training, personnel development department, seminar and field study.

The result of comparative in the opinion about personnel Administration of Champasak University, Pakse District, Champasak Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Distinguishing by sex, education degree, position and working experience found that not different. When considering by age was significantly different in training at 0.05 level.
