The study entitled ‘Measuring Characteristics of School Administrators According to Overview
of Primary School Teachers in Bangkholaem District Office, Bangkok.’ was a survey research. It aimed to evaluate the required qualities of school administrators regarding the personal status, sex, age and their experience as the view of Primary teachers under the Office of Bang Kholam of Bangkok and to compare the required qualities of school administrators regarding the personal status, sex, age and their experience as the view of Primary teachers under the Office of Bangkholaem of Bangkok. The sample of the study was 194 Primary teachers of Wat Phai-ngeun Chotinaram School, Wat Ratsingkhon School, Wat Latbuakhao School, Wat Sai School, Wat Channai School, Wat Channok School and Wat Bangkhlonok using a Stratified Ramdom sampling method. The size of the sample was designed according to the given table of Krejcie & Morgan based on Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Statistics used for the data analysis was Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation, t-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance: F-test based on the ready-made computer programme. The results of the study were as follows:
FINDINGS:
1. The result of the data analysis of the required qualities of school administrators as the view of Primary teachers under the Office of Bang Kholam of Bangkok to find out X and S.D. values in general in all the aspects it was found that they were moderate and while considering each aspect it was found that all the aspects were moderate, the aspect with the most value was vision and the runners-up were personality, technical matter and leadership respectively.
2. The result of the comparative analysis of the required qualities of school administrators as the view of Primary teachers under the Office of Bang Kholam of Bangkok classified according to sex through t-test it was generally found not to be significantly different at .05 level which was not associated with the given hypothesis and while considering each aspect it was found not to be significantly different at .05 level.
3. The result of the comparative analysis of the required qualities of school administrators as the view of Primary teachers under the Office of Bang Kholam of Bangkok classified according to age, qualification and work experience through the One-Way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA was as follows:
1) To the age it was generally found that it was not significantly different at .05 level which was not associated with the given hypothesis, while considering each aspect it was not significantly different at .05 level.
2) To the qualification it was generally found that it was not significantly different at .05 level which was not associated with the given hypothesis, while considering each aspect it was found not to be significantly different at .05 level.
3) To the work experience it was generally found that it was not significantly different at .05 level which was not associated with the given hypothesis, while considering each aspect it was found not to be significantly different at .05 level. |
