The Role in Sangha Administration on Educational Welfare in Nakhonchaisri District, Nakhonpathom Province.

Abstract

                                           

               The  objectives  of  this  research  are:   1 ).  to  study  the  role  of  Sangha affair   administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District   Nakhon  Pathom  province,  2) to  comparatively study the  role  of  Sangha affair administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District,  Nakhon  Pathom  Province, being separated as the individual  status, and  3)  to  study  the  ploblems, obstacles  and  suggestions   on  the  role  of Sangha  administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District,  Nakhonpathom  province. The survey  research was used for this research study.

              The  sample  group used  in  the research is  251 monks  in  Nakhonchaisi  District,  Nakhon  Pathom  province. The  simple  random  sampling was used.  The  instruments  for  collecting  data  were  a  5-rating  scale  questionnaire  and  the  open-ended  questionnaire formed by the study doer with  the  confidence of all copies  equals  0.924. The packaged program was used in analyzing the data. for social research.  The statistics used in data analysis were  the  frequency,  percentage (%), mean , standard deviation ( S.D.) and comparing the mean of opinion was made by testing  the  value of  F-test, to test the difference of the mean of two groups and doing One  Way  ANOVAnalysis  of  Variance  to compare the difference between the mean of at least 3 groups up and  compare the difference in pair by the way of   Least  Significant  Difference  (LSD). The  statistical  significance  was  set  at the level  0.05.

               From The  study of  this  research, it has been found that 

                The questionnaire answer givers’ opinion of the role of Sangha  administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District,  Nakhonpathom province,  in general, was at  the  high  level  with tats  mean  at  3.73< , for  considering  in  aspects, it has been  found  that the questionnaire answer givers’ opinion  on  the  role  of  the Sangha affair  administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District,  Nakhon  Pathom  province  was  at  a  high  level  in  every  aspects. The mean, in the order from higher to lower, for the aspect of Sangha affair administration  of  educational  welfare  in  schools,  equaled x = 3.78., in the aspect of Sangha educational welfare at present equaled X = 3.74, for the aspect of educational welfare offered to the underprivileged people equaled X =  3.71, and in the aspect of developing the temples to being the center of education, reducing and stopping addicted things and going on the way to ruin, equaled X = 3.70, respectively.

               To compare the  role  of  Sangha affair administration  of  educational  welfare  in  Nakhonchaisi  District   Nakhon  Pathom  province, being separated in individual status, it has been found that

               the questionnaire answer givers’ opinion of the role of Sangha  administration of education welfare in Nakhonchaisi District, Nakhon Pathom province was not different because of age, years of rain-retreat, rank, general educational qualification, Dhamm educational qualification and Pali educational qualification. So the set hypothesis was rejected.

               From  the  result  of studying the problems and suggestions of the  role  of  the Ecc. affair  administration  of  educational  welfare,  it has been  found  that the problems and suggestions of the  role of the Ecc. affair administration of  educational  welfare were 1) the educational  welfare of Sangha at present lacked the efficient management and the personnel for running  this work,  2) in the aspect of Sangha affair administration of educational  welfare in schools, the  participation  and  giving the opinion of administration were still less and 3) for the aspect of developing the temples to being the center of education, reducing and stopping addicted things and going on the way to ruin, readiness  of the temples to be the center for reducing and stopping addicted things and going on the way to ruin, to be afraid of the powerfulness including  lacking the personnel and capital for running the processshould be improved, and  4) for the aspect of educational welfare offered to the underprivileged people, it lacked the supporting capital and the fund for helping the underprivileged people.

               The  suggestions  on  various  aspects  are  1) for the  education  welfare  of  sangha at  present,  promoting and supporting  the  administration  as  the  obligations  to  be  effective  and  promoting   personnel  in  the  operation should be done,  2)  for Sangha  administration  of  education  welfare  in  the  school,  the  more opportunity  of  participation  and presenting the opinion in  the  management should be offered,  3for the  development  the  monastery  to be  the  center  of  education, reducing and stopping addicted things and going on the way to ruin, the  abbot  must  be  ready  to  manage  and  allow the officers to participate in legal activities and 4 ) for the aspect of educational welfare offered to the underprivileged people, it should look for the supporting capital of education and hold the fund.
