The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province, 2) to compare the roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province, classified by personal factors, and 3) to study the problems, suggestions and development guidelines of the roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province. The research methodology is the Survey Research collecting the data from Anumnikaya Buddhist monks and peoples in Kanchanaburi Province, 230 people. The statistics used in data analysis were the frequency, percentage (%), mean ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.), test the hypothesis by testing the value t-test and F-test, One Way Analysis of Variance and when a difference is to compare the difference of an average couple with the Least Significant Difference (LSD).
The findings of this research are as follows:
The Roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province as found that overall the medium level at mean of 2.86, when considering each aspects: 1) the education welfare, 2) the public welfare, 3) the propagation of Buddhism, 4) the promotion of art and culture, and 5) the mental development was found that the medium in all aspects.
Comparison of the Roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province, classified by personal factors are status, sex, age, education, and Dhamma education found that the factors which affected the difference opinions, statistically significant at the 0.05 level has status, age, education and education dhamma, the acceptance of the hypothesis, for factors does not affect opinion is sex, the rejection of the hypothesis.
The suggestions for the Roles of Anumnikaya Buddhist monks towards the community development in Kanchanaburi province found that the monks should developed and planning policy about the community development and to all the activities associated with the community to build trust with the Buddhists always. |
