The objectives of this research entitled “Upajjhäyas practices of the Sangha in Samutsongkhram Province According to the opinions of Saddhiviharikas” are conlirted of 1) to study the Upajjhäyas practices of the Sangha in Samutsongkhram Province According to the opinions of Saddhiviharikas, 2) to compare the Upajjhäyas practices of the Sangha in Samutsongkhram Province According to the opinions of Saddhiviharikas, and 3) To study the problems, obstacles and guidelines of the Upajjhäyas practices of the Sangha in Samutsongkhram Province According to the opinions of Saddhiviharikas. This research performs by survey with 400 samples of Upajjhäyas in Samuthsongkram province. The tools to collect the data for in this research were the questionnaires. It was classified into 4 parts. The first part was the personal data of the monks or interviewees. The second part was the questionnaires about the rating scale and open-structured questionnaire with reliability value equal to 0.9585 was used for data collection with 5 levels. The data analysis by frequencies, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, one way analysis of variance and compare the least significant difference: LSD. The third part was the results of practices of Upajjhäyas in Samuthsongkram province. The fourth part was the result of interviews from Upajjhäyas in Samuthsongkram province by content analysis technique.

The results of the research found that:

               (1) The monks had the opinions about Upajjhäyas of Samuthsongkram was the middle level an average 3.38 percent. For Administration and Social Welfare were the good levels but for Education and Public health care were the middle levels.

               (2) To compare the practices of Upajjhäyas in the different personal status such as Age, Ordination years, Education such as Pali and Dhamma and general Education so that the relevant hypothesis set forth could be accepted. But, those of the ones with different age and revenue, as a whole, were not of statistically significant difference so the relevant hypothesis set forth could be rejected.

               (3) The opinions of the monks from the interviews to the practice Upajjhäyas of Samuthsongkram should have to develop the quality of Upajjhäyas. Upajjhäyas should educate the general people and should consider the people who wan to be ordained nicely for the quality monk in Buddhism.

               Therefore, Suggestions about practices of Upajjhäyas of Sangha in Samuthsongkram Province according to the opinions of monks should pay attention to do the their duties perfectly and be able to develop the  monks in Buddhism efficiently.
