Efficiency of Buddhist Monks in Teaching Buddhist Subject : a Case Study of the Secondary Schools in the Area of Sao-Hai District, Saraburi Province.

Abstract

           The objectives of this research are; 1) to study the efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the schools, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province, 2) to study the comparison the efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the schools, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province, classified by personal status,  3 to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions of the efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the schools, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province. The survey research is conducted by collecting the data and using questionnaires with the simple Random sampling of was 360 people, the analytical statistics expository statistics are Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and t-test , One- Way Analysis of Variance: ANOVA and Least Significant Difference : LSD.

The findings of this research as following :

              1. The efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the schools, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province is very good level, as in the followings the method teaching, the atmospheric classrooms, and using the teaching accessories.

              2. The comparative efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the schools, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province, by classified personalities found that different ages and levels are different ideas, the different sexes and places are not different ideas of the efficiency of teaching Buddhist subjects in the schools.

              3. The problems, obstructions and the suggestions of teaching Buddhist subjects of Buddhist monks in the school, Sao Hai district, Saraburi province.

              1) The teaching accessories: the problems and obstructions are not enough, damaged and get the books late, suggestions: providing all teaching accessories, preparing and repairing the accessories and books. 2) The atmospheric classrooms:  the problems and obstructions are loudly noises, badly smells, so hotness and so coolness, suggestion: adding entertain activities, go to study outside classroom, and provide the good atmosphere. 3) The method teaching: the problems and obstructions are difficult to understand the bodies, quickly teaching, cannot hear and speak fast, not enough time in the week, suggestions: using easy accessories, using microphone, bring the interesting tools, adding period of studying.
