This research aimed to 1) study the roles of Phrasanghathikarn in Sangha administration in Phetchaburi Province, 2) compare administration roles of Phrasanghathikarn with different personal status, and 3) examine the problems, obstacles, and development strategy of Sangha administration of Phrasanghathikarn. This survey research was conducted on 218 samples of Phrasanghathikarn in Phetchaburi Province, selected by using cluster sampling method. The tool for collecting data was the questionnaire, with the reliability level of 0.9547, divided into 3 parts: (1) samples’ personal information, (2) roles of Phrasanghathikarn in sangha administration in Phetchaburi Province, and (3) problems, obstacles, and development strategy of sangha administration of Phrasanghathikarn in Phetchaburi Province. The data were analyzed by using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one way Analysis of Variance. Least significant difference method was used for testing the difference of each pair of means.The research findings were as the followings:

              1.The role of Phrasanghathikarn in sangha administration in Phetchaburi Province was at a high level in every aspect. The mean of the role in all 6 aspects was also at a high level (3.79).

              2.Phrasanghathikarn with different position and work experience played the different role in Sangha administration with statistical significance at .05 level. But, those with different age, years of being monk, general education level, Dhamma education level, and Bali education level did not play the different role.ฟัง

    3.The problems of Sangha administration were mostly about the decentralization of administration to cover all of the area of Phetchaburi Province, the insufficiency of personnel in efficient and effective provision of education and Buddhism dissemination, and the lack of formal organization for the administration. So, the expected roles of Phrasanghathikarn should be that Phrasanghathikarn should increase and develop personnel and role for the efficient task performance, that they should decentralize the authority to suitably cover all of the area of Phetchaburi Province, that they should work systematically with the same approach and cooperative network, and that they should behave themselves with good manner according to the Buddhist rules, as well as work with perseverance and devotion for Buddhism stability.
