Abstract

           The objectives of the research were to study the roles of Buddhist monks in moral and ethics propagation to the secondary schools students in Chombueng district, Ratchaburi province. To Compare the student  opinions that difference in status  to the roles of Buddhist monk in moral and ethics propagation to secondary school students in Chombueng district, Ratchaburi  province and to study the approach to develop  the roles of Buddhist monk in moral and ethics propagation to secondary school students in Chombueng district,  Ratchaburi province.

          343 samples including secondary school students of Chombueng district, Ratchaburi province were derived through the multistage random sampling. The instrument used for collecting data was questionnaire of rating scale checklists and open ended questionnaire. The data were analyzed frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test 

          The finding were as follows:

1.   The students view on overall aspects of the roles of Buddhist monks propagation to secondary  students in Chombueng  district,  Ratchaburi  province in high level. Moreover the separate aspect the students view in high level at all.

2.   The comparison of the students opinion that different in status on overall aspects were revealed that the students from different school and different learning achievement level were not significantly different all aspects; the different sexual student opinion were  management significantly different at 0.05 in  environment aspect and activity management aspect. The different age students’ opinion were significantly different at 0.05 in environment management aspect and instruction and supervision aspect, and significantly different at 0.01 in activity management aspect and ethics evaluation aspect. The different leaning level students’ opinion were significantly different at 0.05 in environment management aspect, significantly different at 0.01 in activity management and ethics evaluation aspect

3.   The recommendations to the role of  Buddhist monks in  moral  and  ethics  propagation to the secondary schools students  were to managing the environment around the temple clean, beautiful, and peaceful inducing the moral and ethics CD and Video, inducing moral and ethics camp activities, and evaluating systematically.
