This thesis aims at studying the factors affecting the efficiency of temple management to the society: The case study of Wat Khao Itisukhato, Hua-Hin District, Prajaubkhirikhan Province, the study of relevant factors which affect the effectiveness of management within the monastery. Moreover, the thesis attempts to identify management problem(s) and to recommend best possible suggestions for further development. The sample populations include the Sangha community; monks, novices and nuns residing in the monastery and laypeople. Questionnaire is used as the tool for collecting data. These data are analyzed through statistical software in order to find the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The F-Test is analyzed by the “One-way analysis of variance” approach. The result indicates the rate of confidence as 0.7546.
The result of study
1. The six factors affecting monastery management are controlling, planning, general administration, Human resource management, organizational resource management and the chain of command within the temple. From Public’s point of view. The result in general regarding factors influencing management within temple indicates high level.
2. The sample group is classified by sex, age, birthplace, educational background and length of stay in the monastery. The research found out that these classifications has no significant difference regarding opinion in aspect of factors which affect temple management. Consequently, the hypothesis was denied.
3. The result generally indicates that the human resource management within the temple is considerably positive. This could imply that the temple has clear objectives and appropriate policies in order to put the right man into the right job. Yet, the result still indicates that there is a small number of lacks of understanding regarding assigned task and know-how. |
