This thesis has 3 objectives: 1) to study the background of the local teaching literature of Esarn named “Yasonlarn” 2) to study the principle of Buddhist Ethic as appearing on it 3) to study the influence of it to Esarn society.

              The result of research was found that the local teaching literature of Esarn named “Yasonlarn” had the long story. It had been taught in oral tradition from generation to generation. It had own style writing.  Esarn people used its teachings as guideline to train themselves, members, work and obtain happiness together.

It was found the Buddhist Ethic in Yasonlarn. There are:  1) teaching about education 2) the way to be value human 3) the way to gain merit 4) the way to eat properly 5) to know evil, merit, value and none value 6) the way to treat oneself properly 7) the way to work effectively 8) the way to speak for getting friendship 9) to avoid evil and do good. It can be divided in 3 levels: 1) Basic level is Five precepts and Five Dhammas 2) Middle level is Akusalakamma 10 and 3) High level is the path leading to end of suffering.  And other Buddhist ethics are sangaha-vatthu (helpful     integration),Brahmavihara (the Divine Abiding) and Samajivita (balanced life-style).

Besides; Yasonlarn has the influence to the ways of life to Esarn people in seven fronts: 1) Education 2) Belief 3) Dhamma 4) Doing good 5) Gratedful                           6)Harmony 7) Carefulness the identity of Esarn society and to Esarn tradition and custom. There are in three characters: 1) custom 2) Culture and 3) Tradition. That is all of Buddhist Ethic in Yasonlarn that Esarn people have practiced since the past until present-day
