This Thesis is a qualitative research and a documentary one, from works of
the analytic studies, the principle of theories and interviews on relative people. The main purposes of research are :- The background and importance, The history and significance of Phrathadhchaehang, To study the beliefs of the rituals and tradition about Phrathadhchaehang,  To study and analyze the beliefs’ mottos of people toward Phrathadhchaehang, A summary and recommendation.

From the research it is found that Phrathadhchaehang in Nan  province to be  a ancient Buddhist construction in which the influence to beliefs in mind and ways of life of common people. Because of it is the preservation of ash of Lord Buddha, to compare being representing the Buddha, being the sacrosanct place  and having a history together with  establishment  Nan province, being the antique  architecture, as an important historical learning source, as it is the place for expression the beliefs toward Phrathadhchaehang with  creations the traditions and rituals about Phrathadhchaehang. Especially one is called that “HOK PENG” (It is a Thai word.), as the traditions and rituals is created for  paying respects Phrathadhchaehang every year. One other of rituals has organization, procedures and operations accurately with the beliefs of people.  

The beliefs’ mottos of people toward Phrathadhchaehang are a sort of the combination of beliefs between the Buddhist beliefs and original beliefs or occultism. Which it was happened and handed down through many generations of people.  In present it remain the influence to the beliefs of people permanently.

The summary results derived from the research that have found the interested issue are the beliefs of people toward Phrathadhchaehang,  the expressions  appeared to be entity. As to establish the traditions’ ceremony to pay their respects to Phrathadhchaehang. Being the beliefs’ mottos in which connection with various dimensions are : -1. To belief in the Buddhist religion, to emphasize teaching the principles of Buddhism, about practice the oneself strengthend mind  for doing all good, avoiding all evil, and purifying all the mind, with abiding by the five precepts and The Four Noble  Truths, -2. To belief in occultism to emphasize the occult power of naturals, deities, ghosts, consciousness, -3. To apply the beliefs and the rituals to suit with the changing conditions of society today.

Beliefs of the people on Phrathadhchaehang will maintain the influence to the minds and the ways of life of the people anymore. Although the scientific knowledge is just advancing more and more, But this faith is deeply rooted in the mind and being the public benefit. Researcher have suggested that relative person will probably give an opportunity for youth, community, academy, To study about the beliefs and traditions for to worship Phrathadhchaehang. In style of studying the conducted research on the connecting groups widely, being system and continuity. For the benefits of  Nan people and general Buddhist people.
