This research aims to study causes and guidelines to solve the ethics problems of learners in Sikhiew district under the control of Nakhonratchasima primary education Service area, office 4 based on viewpoints of school administrators and teachers classified by teachers’ work status, school types, and school sizes.
Samples are 238 teachers under the control of Nakhonratchasima primary education service area, office 4. Instruments for data collection are 50 items of rating scales questionnaires Data analysis is analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA were used for statistic analysis.
The results are found as follows:
1. The level of ethics problem causes of learners is average. According to each level, it is found that the influence of mass media is in a high level. The house environment, the influence of friends, and school instruction are average respectively.
2. A comparison of causes of ethics problems of learners according to viewpoints of school administrators and teachers both in general and in each side shows a statistically significant difference at .05 level. The school classification is generally found that the causes of problem show a statistically significant difference at .05 level about school instruction, influence of friends, and influence of mass media. According to school size classification, it is found that the level of problem causes does not show a statistically significant difference at .05 level.
3. There are four guidelines to solve the ethics problems of learners. The first guideline is that about the house environment, parents or guardians should be a good model, listen to the problems of their progeny, establish good relationship, give warm up love, and introduce how to behave properly. The second guideline is about school instruction. The ethics knowledge should be continuously inserted in the lesson. Besides, monks should be brought in the activity session of the whole year instruction. The third level is about the influence of friends. Teachers should carefully watch learners’ behaviors, suggest them to behave appropriately to the places, and set up a group of good volunteers to do the benefited activities proper to their ages. The last one is about the influence of mass media. The government should control and percolate seriously the mass media. Besides, the mass media should control and percolate the mass media. The mass media should have a standard criteria for presenting the right thing appropriate to the age of learners.
