The objectives of thesis are as 2 follows : 1) To study the role played by Grubasrivichai as a saint in Lanna 2) To study his role in temples reconstruction. His work is a qualitative research  and conlusion.

                 From the analyzation, it is found that Pragruba Sirivijaya has the determination in sacrificing himself to Buddhism and is of the strong belief in the Doctrinal way. From the year 2444 B.E. he constructed the faith from his practice as the good pattern for the Buddhists and all the novices. With his strong practice of the Clam Meditation and the Insight Meditation, he was generally well known among the people in Lanna. More over, onwards, there has been from the 2442 B.E. Concellation of the city of Lanna as the Vassal State to be one part of Siamese Kingdom. It can be understood the Buddhism is the religion supporting and encouraging the Thai Lanna people’s minds which were out of mental strength. It seems that at that time, Brakru Ba Srivijaya was righty the centre of Lanna people’s faiths. This fact appeared formally Clearly from the numbers of more than 100 temples which has been renorated at this period of time uo to 2477 B.E.

     The belief that the minded Temples reflect the impurity of Buddhism, thus Lanna people’s strength appeared everywhere in Lanna Land at that time. Therefore, Prakruba Sirivichai is the centre of the faith possessed by the people who are possessed of Patipataparami and who repaired more than 100 temples at the past time. At the past progressive period of Lanna Region, the King who rulled the City was often the leader of the renovation of he important temples of the city up to the 2463 B.E. This  fact is regarded a the first time occurring in Lanna Land in which the person who renovated the temple was not the ruler of the City, but they were the Lanna monks whom the people respected. That is to say the Lanna people respected and faith in Pra Kruba Sivijai Sirivijayo.

                 1. The result of research is found as follows;  Ghrubasrivichai had played the saint’ roles in well Practising the Vinaya following the Lord Buddha, and he also had the great practice of Vipassana throughout his whole life which could win the abstract and problems  at every event. He also appropriate by behaved his himself for status, occurence, and environment and was of the right conduct of  tradition that the moral principles were more useful to Buddhism.

                 2. Regarding his roles in reconstructing the temples, it was found that he had reconstructed many temples in Lanna namely : Wat Phrathatdoisuthep and Wat Jamthevee, Wat Banpang of Lumphun Province, Wat Srikomkome of Phrayao, Wat Sondok of Chiang Mai Provine and Wat Phrakeaedontaosuchardaram in Lumpang Province. He was a leader of the people to construct many temples in Lanna and he was the center for persuading a lot of people to make merit with him.  The people in Lanna have the believes that if they have made merit with a Saint in Buddhism, they will receive the blessing form the merit.
