The objectives of this research were (1) to study the personnel’s self-practice in Dasabidharajadhamma at the Technical Promotion and Support Office VI Khonkaen Province, Department of Social Development and Welfare, (2) to study the personnel’s performance according to good governance in aspects of participation at the Technical Promotion and Support Office VI Khonkaen Province, Department of Social Development and Welfare, (3) to study self-practice in Dasabidharajadhamma associated with the personnel’s performance according to good governance in aspects of participation of personnel at the Technical Promotion and Support Office VI Khonkaen Province, Department of Social Development and Welfare, and (4) to study the independent variable to support the self-practice in Dasabidharajadhamma associated with the personnel’s performance according to good government in aspects of participation at the Technical Promotion and Support Office VI Khonkaen Province, Department of Social Development and Welfare. This was the quantitative research. The sample was 170 personnel: governmental officers, permanent employees, governmental employees, and impermanent employees from 13 governmental sectors in Khonkaen. The organization of the sample was done by means of Taro Yamane’s method and the simple sampling. The research instruments for the data collection were questionnaire analyzed with the Statistical Packet for the Social Science (SPSS), frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Person’s product moment correlation coefficient. If there was the relation of the statistical importance at 0.05, it was analyzed with stepwise multiple regression analysis.
A result of this study was found in the following aspects.
1. The performance of Dasabidharajadhamma was found that the high level ( = 4.13). When each aspect was considered, it was found that non-violence ( = 4.21) was in the highest level. The inferior aspects were kindness and gentleness ( = 4.20), honesty ( = 4.19), endurance ( = 4.16), self-control ( = 4.15), and non-anger ( = 4.09). Finally, the lowest level was Giving, morality, self-sacrifice, and non-opposition ( = 4.03).
2. The performance according to good governance in aspects of participation was found that the personnel’s performance according to good governance in aspects of participation was in the high level ( = 3.99). When each aspect was considered, it was found that the participation in management, activities, or projects was in the highest level ( = 4.06). The inferior levels were the participation in presentation of ideas and steps of management, the participation in resolving the problems about mistakes in performance, good views given to the governmental and private officers, training them in understanding and sincerity in work, and close relation among sectors and visitors. The lowest level was the participation in decided steps of management ( = 4.01).
3. Self-practice according to Dasabidharajadhamma relating to the performance according to good governance in the aspect of participation was found that the positive correlation was generally in the high level (r = 0.711). When each aspect was considered, it was found that five aspects of the positive correlation in the high level were giving (dāna), self-sarifice (paricāga), honesty (ājava), non-violence (ahingsā), non-opposition (virodhana), and non-opposition (avirodhana). Five inferior aspects in the middle level were morality (sila), kindness and gentleness (maddava), self-control (tapa), non-anger (akkodha), endurance (khanti) in the significantly statistical difference at the level of .01
4. The independent variable had the effect on the self-practice in Dasabidharajadhamma associated with performance according to good governance in aspects of participation was found that three independent variables had the effect on three aspects form the high level to the lowest level: giving (x2), non-opposition (x11), and honesty (x5), in the significantly statistical difference at the level of .01 order from highest to lowest. By the coefficient of the variable Tdtai prophets to write the following equation.
