The objectives of this research were: 1) to study an administration effectiveness of Muang Phitsanulok Agence Police Station 2) to study the factors that influenced an administration effectiveness of Muang Phitsanulok Agence Police Station 3) to study problems, obstacles, and suggestions on an administration effectiveness of Muang Phitsanulok Agence Police Station. This study was a mixture research in which quantitative, qualitative and survey ones were applied. The sample in this study was 200 police officers who worked at Muang Phitsanulok Police Station. The statistics for data analysis used the Taro Yamane, questionnaires, the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Chi-Square test, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, In-Depth Interview with 7 Key Informants, and the Analysis of context-based content.
Results of the Research
1. Overall, The environmental in the high level ( =3.51) in the aspect of personnel and management; however, the administration was in the middle level.
2. Overall, The effectiveness of agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok was in the middle level ( =3.49). Considering for each aspect, the accurate performance was in high level, whereas transparency and target-oriented one were in the middle level.
3. Factors that influenced the agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok classifying into rank, sex, degree of education, and duration of work had no relationship with the effectiveness of agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok and this declined research hypotheses. The rank had an important relationship with the agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok with statistical significance at 0.05, this accepted research hypotheses. Environmental factors also had an important relationship with the agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok in term of management which accepted research hypotheses.
4. The problems, obstacles, and suggestions for the effectiveness of agency Police Station Muang Phisanulok found that the budgets in providing the equipments and vehicles were not sufficient. These included the state-of-the-art CCTV that would supported to clearly monitor the major interjection at night. The problems also dealt with the lack of personnel especially Information Technology (IT). The supervisors did not receive the welfare such as the allowances when they had to work overtime. The cases were not concluded on time because of the unbalance between the quantity of cases and official. Information sent to people was not totally up to date. The suggestions were that there should be a budget form by responsible department for annual budget request regarding the equipments needed. Personnel department should ask for the missing position and recalled the officials who were lent to others. For supervisors, the compensation should be paid appropriately when they had to work with the Suppression. Finally, there should be the support on IT skills development.
