The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the opinions of police officers at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province regarding their life quality development, 2) to study the individual relationship factors in accordance with the Police life quality development at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province, 3) to study the methods for the Police life quality development at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province. This study applied the Survey Research in which the sample was 112 police officers at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province. The tools of the research were questionnaire and the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The statistics for data analysis used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Chi-Square test, In-Depth Interviews with 7 Key Informants and the Analysis of context-based content.
Results of the Research
1. Overall, the opinions of police officers at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province regarding their the Police life quality development were at the middle level (µ=2.54). Considering for each aspect, the residence and education were in moderate level whereas health and sanitation, income, and welfare were at the low level.
2. The relationship between personal factors, classifying into sex, age, degree of education, status had no relationship with the Police life quality development at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province.
3. The problems, obstacles, and suggestions for the police life quality development of police officers at the Police Training Center Region 6 in Nakhon Sawan Province found that the residences were declined and lack of maintenance from related agencies. Moreover, the public utility such as water supply by which could not pour inconvenient, nursing room was not open for service thus police officers did not received the primary nursing when they injured. Police officers also lacked the full expenses when they went to training or any government services and there were no welfare foundations or additional occupations for them. The suggestions were to seek the budgets for maintaining the residences, water supply, nursing room. Furthermore, the full expenses should be available when the Police Training wanted to send the officials for training and the accurate payment should also be considered.
