The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study an Application of Buddhadhamma Principles in School Administration of the School Administrations, and 2) to study the problems, barriers and suggestions for an Application of Buddhadhamma Principles in School Administration. The sample of this study consisted of 169 respondents. The method of the study was survey research. The research tools were the questionnaire and the in-depth interview which had been analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and summarized the problems, barriers and suggestions by analyzing the synthetic data.
The Results of the Research :
1) The school administrators used the Buddhadhamma Principles in school administration, and took them as a moving that they and their subordinates would be the virtues person in self-control according to Seven Sappurisadhammas, conducting oneself according to Four Sangahavatthus, and doing one’s duty according to Four Iddhipàdas.
2) The opinions of an Application of Buddhadhamma Principles in School Administration found that the School Administrators applied the Seven Sappurisadhammas in self-control, the Four Sangahavatthus in conducting oneself, and the Four Iddhipàdas in doing one’s duty. They were high average.
In most of the schools, the School Administrators did not have the problems, and barriers of an Application of Buddhadhamma Principles in School Administration. But in few schools had some problems such as (1) The School Administrators made less confident, and bored lacking of cautions in analysis the problems or circumstances. 2) The school personnel did not adapt their behaviors because of their habit., and 3) Some of the subordinates lacked of etiquettes, and ethics so they were not willing to do the tasks, and someone did not understand their roles and responsibilities.
The suggestions for school administration were as follows:
1) The school administrators should understand clearly and integrate with administrative policy, purposes, missions, visions, and especially the Buddhadhamma.
2) The school administrators should support the subordinates in doing well according to the Buddhadhamma.
3) The school administrators should properly decentralize, divide of work, decentralize the resource, give someone a chance, participate in thinking, and choose the able or skillful men to properly accomplish the tasks with the cofactor - the nature, the opportunity, and the time.
