The purposes of this research were to study and compare, and to find the way to develop transformational leadership of Basic School administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization. The samples were 89 school administrators and 315 teachers, total of 404 persons. The instruments used in this research were the rating scale questionnaires with validity value between 0.80 - 1.00, discrimination power between 0.30 - 1.00 and the reliability value as 0.95. The statistis for data analysis included frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard deviation, t - test (Independent samples) and F-test (One way ANOVA). For paired comparison, Scheffe’ s method was administered.
The research findings were :
1. The transformational leadership of Basic School administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization, in overall and each aspect were at the highest level. The highest practice was the stimulation for wisdom usage aspect, followed by the charisma creation aspect.The lowest behavioural practice was the concerning of differences between individual personal aspects.
2. The comparative results of transformational leadership of Basic School administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization when classified by status, in overall and each aspect, the practice were statistically significant difference at .01 level, the school administrators had more practice than teachers.
3. The Comparative results of transformational leadership of Basic School administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization, when classified by school size, in overall the practices were not different. The personnel in large sized school had more practices than personnel in small sized school and medium sized school. Considering each aspect, there were statistically significant at .05 level in 2 aspects: the inspiration creation aspect and the concerning of difference between individnal’s personal aspects. The other aspects were not different.
4. The guideline to develop transformational leadership of Basic School administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization were as follows: the administrators should praise and giving honor to their subordinates. The administrators should have good pattern in self-management, human resource management and job-management. The administrators should support their colleagues for training of new knowledge. The administrators should support their colleagues for self development according to their competencies and needs.
