The objectives of this study were to study the using the principle of the good governance for the Private Secondary Schools under the Office of Chachoengsao Educational Zone, to compare the opinion levels of the using the principle of the good governance for administrating the Private Secondary Schools under the Office of Chachoengsao Educational Zone and to study the problems and proposals of the using the principle of the good governance for administrating the Private Secondary Schools under the Office of Chachoengsao Educational Zone. The sampling group used for this research was 214 administrative staffs and teaching staffs. The instrument used for the research was the questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and One-Way ANOVA analyzing.
The Findings of this research
It has been found that the opinion level of administrating the schools under the principle of the good governance, in general, was at the high level. The significances of administrators’ and teachers’ high opinion level were the principles of justice, responsibility, cooperation, transparency, morality and worth. In comparing the administrators’ and teachers’ opinions, being divided as gender, age and experience, of administrating the schools under the principle of the good governance, their opinions were not different with statistical significance at the level 0.05.
The ways of using the using the principle of the good governance for the Private Secondary Schools under the Office of Chachoengsao Educational Zone should be as follows; 1) in the aspect of the rule of law, before administrators’ enforcing the rules, regulations and articles in schools, the committee for doing the public hearing should be held, 2) in the aspect of morality, the administrators should emphasize on possessing the morality, regarding the professional rule of conduct and fair heart, 3) in the principle of transparency, the administrators should hold the meeting for informing all the matters and giving a chance for discussion, 4) for the principle of participation, the administrators should take a part in all activities of schools, be advisors and encourage the personnel’s willpower, 5) for the principle of responsibility, the administrators should be responsible for school affairs without quitting or refusing work, 6) for the principle of worth, the administrators should commit any work with regarding the worth of time, work result and what they invest for the benefit of schools.
